In 2005, inspTired by the market need for healthier food choices, Helen O’Dowd and Kevin Byrne founded Virginia Health Food Ltd. With a background in food science, nutrition and sales, their vision was to develop convenient and affordable health supporting foods for the market and make them delicious.

Our first range of products launched were Cold Milled Linseed, and Seed Mixes, under the brand Virginia Harvest. Following the success of Virginia Harvest, the company introduced the “Helen’s” brand. Helen’s consists of a variety of gluten free, easy to prepare great tasting mixes, ranging from bread mixes, to scones, brioche, pastry and crepe mixes, and a range of Healthy Seed & Protein Toppings for functional, delicious additions to your yogurt, porridge, smoothies or salads!

This year, we have introduced a new range into the Healthy Snacking segment with our Nature Seeker’s brand “Squbes”. Squbes are innovative healthy amazingly tasty snacks made with nutrient dense seeds such as flax, chia, hemp. sesame, sunflower and pumpkinseeds along with nuts such as almonds, hazelnuts, cashew etc. Squbes are all Gluten Free, High in Fibre, a Good Source of Protein & Magnesium, and made without refined sugar! Our Squbes aim to please all taste buds and snacking occasions with both savoury and sweet varieties available.
