We first discovered sprouted grains on our travels to the States, and were intrigued by their health properties as well as their delicious flavour.
Unable to find any sprouted crackers in the UK, we decided to make our own and, with our great team of bakers in Scotland, Sprouted Genius was created.

What is Sprouted Flour?
Grains are, essentially, seeds. While they wait to grow into a full size plant they hold their nutrients, vitamins and minerals in a dormant state.
When the seeds are allowed to germinate, or sprout, enzymes are released, and the seed begins to transform into a plant.
The grain is transformed from a starch into a vegetable, making it much easier for the body to digest and absorb the nutrients.
Most importantly, it also tastes fantastic! Isn’t nature genius?
Our crackers are combined with the finest 100% wholegrain organic sprouted flour, combined with wheat flour for a good 'snap' and delicious flavours like earthy beetroot and punchy salt and pepper.
