SCI-MX® Nutrition is a leading, UK based nutrition brand owned by Samworth Brothers Ltd. We have been delivering nutritional excellence for over a decade and our heritage and excellence in the protein arena has resulted in retail sales of over £35 million.

We supply all major multiple retailers and are available in 28 countries across the world. PRO® 2GO is the healthy snacking division of SCI-MX® and was founded to provide the consumer with ‘proper fuel’ throughout the day.

Snacking-on-the go is worth £7 billion, accounting for 44% of impulse occasions and is set to rise significantly by 2020. However, there is a shift in consumer awareness of health and wellbeing, with over 86% of people claiming to be healthy, or health conscious and a quarter of the UK population are very concerned about sugar consumption. This has created some significant headwinds for the traditional snacking category, which is inherently sugar-loaded.

SCI-MX have spotted an opportunity to offer traditional confectionary products with a twist – we take the ‘bad stuff’ (sugar) out and add the ‘good stuff’ (protein) in. We have big ambitions to create a segment of healthy snacking which is truly nutritious.

The PRO® 2GO range offers high protein,
low sugar products with an RRP of between 99p and £3.11 which deliver on taste, energy and satisfaction. At this year’s Food Matters live we will be featuring our entire PRO® 2GO range of products which include protein cookies, brownies, oatbakes, crispy bars, iced coffee and milkshakes.

We have a simple mission and that is to help people make healthier snacking choices.
