Living Harvest started with two men's passion for healthy living and quality fresh produce. In 2013, Mphumzi Kose & Bernd Hendel met over a cup of coffee and discussed a possibility of starting a Fruit & Vegetable Factory which would focus at producing high quality products at an affordable price prepared in an environment of highest hygiene standards.
Our purchasing principals are directed by a strong, positive culture and a reputation that has been forged over many years of success and growth in a tough and competitive industry. We also Support emerging commercial farmers who have quality produce but lack support from the retail sector in order to satisfy our clients and also to sustain jobs in Agricultural Sector.
Our aspiration is to grow and to be the market leader in the wholesale fruit and vegetable business& in our dairy products . Living Harvest has become much more than a brand of fresh fruit and vegetables, we are advocates of healthy living, hygiene and excellent product quality, and are revolutionizing the way people think about food.
Our orders are filled fresh on a daily basis. To ensure the freshest processed fruit and vegetables are produced, where possible we try not to cut corners by using machines to process our fresh produce.
In line with our HACCP accreditation, our fruit and vegetables must meet our rigorous standards prior to delivery to ensure they are at optimum freshness.
