Founded in 1935 by Nazareno Battaglini who bought an olive grove and a traditional olive press, the certified organic farmhouse is located on the hills around Bolsena Lake at 400 MTS. above sea level.
For three generations, the Battaglini Family has attended to the cultivation of 3 typical olive cultivas: 'Moraiolo' - 'Caninese' - 'Frantoio', thus the production of high quality extra virgin olive oil. With their skills, Andrea and Stefano Battaglini are focused to exploit the qualities of the olives by following every moment of the olive press. After the olives have ripened, they are hand-harvested directly from the plants and then cold pressed, within 12 hours at a max temperature of 27° C in the olive press.
