DouxMatok is a food-tech company that is a leader in the Targeted Delivery of Flavor Ingredients, such as sugar, enabling healthier consumption of foods without compromising taste.
We offer sugar reduction solutions to the Food industry. We enable reduction of 40% in sugar, while retaining the same sugar “experience” – the same taste that consumers are looking for, without aftertastes, a similar mouthfeel, same color and texture.
DouxMatok products are FDA and EU compliant, and are made using sustainable green chemistry principles (i.e. no new molecules).
DouxMatok was incorporated in 2014, with its R&D center and offices based in Petach-Tikva, Israel. The company is led by a team of multi-disciplinary talents with expertise in food-tech, bio-tech, applied chemistry, engineering and culinary arts, that have successfully led ventures from seed to full scale commercialization. DouxMatok is a start-up partner in EIT Food (“Rising Food Stars”), recipient of the Horizon 2020 SME phase 1, and winner of a number of national and international food-tech competitions.
