Crické aims to introduce insects in the Western diet by presenting them in the context of familiar, tasty foods. We created a line of new food products fusing traditional, Italian flavors with a new ingredient: the cricket flour. Insects, and in particular crickets, are nutritionally superior to other protein sources – 68% protein by weight – and more sustainable. Our food products are an innovative high-protein alternative to traditional meat.
Crické's first product is Crickelle: crisp, savoury cricket crackers ideal for topping and dipping. Thanks to the cricket flour (15%), they have more than 20% protein content.
Crické is also going to deliver fresh bread and pasta (always with 15% cricket flour) to top restaurants and cafés in London.
