We assist our customers to develop complete solutions with tailor-made pectins from our business partners Silvateam Italy or bespoke Calleblends manufactured in our facility in Somerset UK.
Technical support begins from project concept through to finished product commercialisation covering new product development recipe concepts, laboratory and pilot plant trials and factory scale up of the final product.
Starting from citrus peels, Silvateam use a unique process for pectin production, tightly controlling pectin chain lengths of the 'pure pectin' for use in tailor made combination pectin blends designed in their technical innovation centre for specific customer applications.
Ongoing innovation takes the form of in house technical knowledge to select and combine high methoxyl, low methoxyl conventional, amidated pectins and in some applications clean label flours to solve textural challenges such as sugar reduction in food and beverages.
