Bug Farm Foods is an award-winning Welsh food business that produces delicious, innovative and unique foods made with the sustainable protein of the future - insects. Brought to you by TV entomologist (insect expert) Dr Sarah Beynon and award-winning chef Andy Holcroft (as featured on BBC’s ‘The Bug Grub Couple’), Bug Farm Foods is the culmination of a shared passion for innovation, science, the environment and delicious food. Based on the couple’s farm, research centre and visitor attraction, The Bug Farm, in wild west Wales, the recipes have been developed, tried and tested by Andy in his restaurant Grub Kitchen – the UK’s first full-time edible insect restaurant.
Featured products include the famous Cricket Cookies, as well as powders and whole insects for cooking and snacking. Several exciting and innovative new products are in development.
