The AgriFood Training Partnership(AFTP) is the leading high-level training provider for the agrifood sector. The AFTP offers agrifood professionals continuing professional development and training opportunities from a one-day workshop to a postgraduate degree. This training is designed to enable participants to progress their career and their companies to become more efficient, more profitable and more sustainable – to prepare us all for the challenges ahead.
As a partnership between six leading UK universities, the AFTP is the bridge between industry and academia – translating research into accessible, applied industry expertise. Over the last five years the AFTP Partner Universities (Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cranfield, Harper Adams, Nottingham, Reading) have collectively trained over 1500 industry based delegates in all areas of agrifood technical and business management including food safety, nutrition, sensory science, sustainability, supply chain and business management. Come and talk to us about training opportunities for yourself or your staff and colleagues. We also offer opportunities in apprenticeships and in company training.
