Thomas is a restless marketing geek, who decided 20 years ago to fully live his passion for food and eating by entering the FMCG industry. Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, Thomas studied there and is holding a master degree in marketing from the Vienna Business University. Since then, he showed his dedication in numerous international roles in the food and beverage industry in B2B and B2C all over Europe. Meanwhile living in Zürich, Switzerland, he is using all his experience in category, brand and product management to make a difference for meanwhile more than 5 years at Givaudan, the global leader for flavours and fragrances. In his current role as Innovation Director for Savoury EAME Thomas drives the company’s culinary and processed meat efforts in EAME and is spearheading ‘Plant Attitude’ – the plant powered nutrition platform dealing with dairy and meat alternatives, sustainable food and novel protein sources. Thomas is happily married with 3 children, he is an enthusiastic runner and his passion is, of course, food!
