Professor Peter Rogers

Peter Rogers is Professor of Biological Psychology at the University of Bristol. He trained in biological sciences and experimental psychology at the University of Sussex UK. After completing a PhD and postdoctoral work at the University of Leeds, he moved to the Institute of Food Research, Reading in 1990. He has worked at the University of Bristol since 1999, where he teaches biological psychology and leads research on nutrition and behavior, including studies on human appetite and weight control, food choice, low-calorie-sweeteners and weight management, and the psychopharmacology of caffeine. He is a Chartered Psychologist, a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Registered Nutritionist. His publications include over 200 peer-review journal papers.
