Vegan entrepreneur Lisa Gawthorne is one of the Co-Founders of Bravura Foods – the UKs leading and award winning vegan food distributors. Always looking to add unique on trend vegan food and drink products to the market, Lisa is a passionate speaker on the topics of plant based diets, climate change, animal welfare and vegan nutrition in sport and has appeared on Sky News and BBC News as well as giving talks at the Natural and Organic Products show and Retail Week. Author of “Gone in 60 minutes” a bite sized health and fitness book and GB athlete, Lisa is a regular contributor to the vegan press and has competed for her age group for the last three years on both the European and World Championship circuits. She is currently ranked 9th in the world and 8th in Europe for her age group in the sport of Duathlon. Last year Lisa completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses course and was named one of the top most 50 ambitious business leaders in UK by the Telegraph in association with LDC. This year Lisa has recently been awarded the James Henry Cook award from the Health Food Institute for her inspiring support of vegan principles in business and sport. In addition to this, in May, The Grocer named Lisa as one of the 10 most influential people shaping the plant based market.
