Emily Christie is a freelance consultant supporting food brands with their retail strategy. From pitching and pricing to shopper marketing budgeting and activation, she brings over 15 years of food industry experience and importantly insight into the buyer's mind. At Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, she developed a passion for a sustainable and holistic approach to food production and consumption. After starting out as a chef, Emily soon moved into buying jobs at The House of Bruar, The Savoy hotel, and most recently as Grocery Buyer for Whole Foods Market’s UK stores. Emily's flexible practice has helped clients ranging from startups to multi-billion euro corporations, from coffee to hummus, ice cream to nut butters and more.
