Senior Research Associate, Bristol University
Dr James Nobles is a Senior Research Associate in Behavioural and Qualitative Science at the University of Bristol. His work is primarily focused on the implementation and evaluation of systems approaches to complex public health challenges such as physical activity and obesity. Before joining the University of Bristol, he was part of the research team at Leeds Beckett University that developed and evaluated the “Health Matters: Whole Systems Approach to Obesity” resources. He also provided evidence in 2018 to the Health Select Committee enquiry on childhood obesity about the use of systems approaches, which later fed into their recommendations to Government.
