Principal Nutrition Scientist, EMEA, Tate & Lyle
Ieva is Principal Nutrition Scientist at Tate & Lyle where she is responsible for managing nutrition research projects across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. She supports scientific activities relating to Tate & Lyle’s ingredient portfolio, in particular dietary fibres and low calorie sweetening solutions.
Ieva has a PhD in Nutritional Science from the Manchester Metropolitan University, and, prior to joining Tate & Lyle, she worked for a leading beverage producer where she contributed to a UK-wide sugar reduction initiative. Ieva has also acted as a researcher and lecturer in several UK academic institutions.
Ieva is passionate about health and nutrition and her current focus area is prebiotic fibres and their potential to support digestive health and other health improvements.
