Di Swanston

Di joined HENRY in 2017 from the Public Health England obesity team. She is an experienced public health manager, having led several national government public health programmes. From 2008 to 2015 she was Deputy Director of the National Obesity Observatory with responsibility to synthesise and translate obesity and related data to support professionals working to tackle obesity.

Di is Policy Manager at HENRY: a charity delivering a range of evidence-based programmes to prevent and manage early childhood obesity, working directly with families of young children and training early years’ practitioners. As well as effective support for vulnerable families, Di is a keen advocate for supportive policy measures to prevent child obesity.
