Paul Foulkes-Arellano

Paul Foulkes-Arellano studied modern languages and linguistics at Cambridge University, focusing nowadays on the preservation of endangered languages.

He has worked in branding and packaging innovation since 1989, having held senior positions at London's biggest agencies. Currently he is Head of Client Programmes at Precipice Design, where he is a consultant to major international clients such as Mondelez, Nestlé and Unilever.

He chairs a number of brand design competitions, and is a regular speaker on sustainable packaging.

Paul is determined to do something about the devastating effects of plastic pollution, and in 2017 joined forces with international campaign group A Plastic Planet (aplasticplanet.com) as their Packaging Advisor.

In January 2019 Paul founded the Sustainable Design Alliance (sustainabledesignalliance.com), an international alliance of sustainable design professionals working on global solutions for a healthier planet with hubs in San Francisco, London and Melbourne.
