Co-founder and Chief Campaign Officer, The Goat Agency
Harry is a 23-year-old entrepreneur and the UK’s foremost expert in influencer marketing and social media. He is responsible for the strategy and delivery of The Goat Agency’s influencer marketing campaigns. Goat is Europe’s leading influencer agency, with offices in London and New York. It works with brands including Lidl, Formula E, British Airways, New Look, Bumble, Malibu and Chelsea FC.
Harry was turned down by the his local newspaper to shadow a football journalist when he was 16. This rejection rompted him to found Fresh Press , which started as a website for Liverpool fans, launched in February 2013. Harry worked with influencers to supply content and within six months it had grown to be one of the top five Liverpool Football sites in the
world. Fresh Press expanded to cover more football teams and now hosts over 65 sites run by and for fans, with over 500 contributors. Harry is CEO of Fresh Press, which receives around ten million hits a month and provides young writers with a platform to break into journalism.
Harry is driven by problem solving, like how a 16-year-old can gain writing experience or get into football matches for free. His experience in driving traffic, working with influencers and delivering at scale has earned him respect in the industry, but he is driven by establishing a legacy based on great work and consistently high performance. Harry co-founded Goat with Arron Shepherd and Nick Cooke in August 2015, after the three met at Sportlobster, a sports social network, co-founded by Arron in 2012. Harry joined the company as its fifth employee immediately after finishing his A-Levels. He was quickly promoted to Head of Social, running a team of five. Harry is a regular commentator on Influencer Marketing, appearing on Radio 4, 5 Live Sport as well as Goat’s own What’s Happening podcast. He also speaks at industry events
including Cannes Lions and Customer Engagement Summit.
