15 years working into a sales and marketing positions for global brands, and a broad range of experience in sales and marketing at various A-BRANDS, Franziska went on a 3 month sabbatical. This took her on a 1 month trip to India and an intensive Ayurveda course. So began her journey towards living a conscious and more purpose driven life. Via a few detours the following years, working in marketing and sales for both start-ups and corporates, she joined the Lovechock team as a partner in 2010.
Launched in 2009, Lovechock was the first RAW chocolate to be sold in the Netherlands. Franziska soon found her drive in sourcing exotic, raw materials and building sales in the organic retail channel starting in Germany and rolling out to more than 22 markets. Pioneering superfoods into chocolate, Lovechock has enjoyed growth the past years. Mainly due to its trailblazing recipes, but also the company’s foresight to be completely vegan, soy, gluten, palm oil and plastic free. Since 2011 the packaging used is compostable and from sustainable sources.
Since joining she has been through a personal growth path including a company buy-out, starting up a production facility, bringing 2 new brands into the world and purchasing another local raw chocolate competitor. All fascinating experiences bringing new challenges on how to create inspiring, best in class products and leading with purpose.
Healthy food is her passion and one that drives her need to create better for you snacking products that are pioneering in their field. It’s her mission to share and radiate how pleasurable conscious living can be; starting with cacao.
What has Franziska learnt these past years? Wanting to do be a trail blazer and changing the status quo, takes hard work and bundles of energy. However with a strong belief and a group of like-minded people and commitment to the 3 core pillars: Love for your body, love for the farmer and love for the planet, working for your purpose is extremely rewarding.
