Independent Consultant in Public Health Policy and Behaviour Change

Georgina has been engaged for many years in obesity research. Specialist interests include the impacts of food marketing on consumer food behaviours, the impacts of policy on industry behaviours, and how research and evidence can be more effectively tailored to support the development of public policy. Past roles include six years based in Thailand as the Executive Director of the Asian Food Information Council, and similar periods of time as a senior researcher at the University of Stirling and as an international public health policy and behaviour change consultant, analyst and trainer. She has conducted research and/or advised the World Health Organisation, the Scottish Government, the UK’s Department of Health, various EU Directorates, agencies and overseas missions, as well as a number of Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Consumer Affairs in Asia.
