Director, The Campaign Company
David founded the Campaign Company (TCC) in 2001 following a successful 15-year career in the Labour Party, which culminated in his role as the Party’s Assistant General Secretary.
For TCC, David has led major projects for local over sixty local authorities, health and third sector bodies. David specialises in insight driven communications, consultation and engagement. He has pioneered the development and use of tools that help to understand behaviour and frame interventions that work, and keep working. A former Councillor, David has worked extensively with the Local Government Association. TCC has recently produced the LGA Guide to Engagement, New Conversations.
David lives in South London with wife Aline, and is a lifelong supporter of Chester Football Club (a supporter owned social enterprise) and is a Director of the Club’s Community Trust. He enjoys all things chilli, India, trashy TV and worries about his daughter Holly, without any good reason.
