Dan is a former advertising executive on a mission to use advertising, technology and communications to do more good and less harm in public health. Through Living Loud he works to reform junk food marketing, challenge our broken food systems and to inspire people to make healthier choices.
Working with the Food Foundation, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and others Dan co-founded and lead the project to launch Veg Power, the campaign to use advertising to encourage kids to eat more vegetables. Veg Power partnered with ITV this year to launch Eat Them to Defeat Them - a bold campaign, aimed at kids which reached into the homes of 40m people.
Dan’ presentation will explain the thinking behind the campaign, look at the results and discuss what we can learn to bring scale and impact to public health campaigns.
