Co-founder and director, Jarr Kombucha
Adam founded JARR alongside brother and sister Tom and Jess Seaton and friend Neil Hinchley. The idea for the business was sparked by the four friends at his home in Los Angeles in January 2015. Adam was born and raised in California, the epicenter of the Kombucha boom and it was here that he became increasingly passionate and knowledgeable about the market while personally witnessing the incredible industry growth from $75 million in 2008 to $500 million in 2015.
Adam learned how to brew from Hannah Crum, widely regarded as the world’s leading Kombucha expert, author of 'The Big Book of Kombucha' and founder of Kombucha Brewers International, the global trade organization for Kombucha breweries.
Adam’s initial role was as JARR’s head brewer, formulating the original recipe and sourcing the fine ingredients that JARR uses today, but he has since transitioned into becoming the brand’s main ambassador. Whether it’s organizing and leading the first Kombucha masterclasses offered in the UK with Whole Foods Market, Sourced Market and Soho House or managing marketing activities and collaborative projects, Adam’s goal is to share the JARR story and spread the word about kombucha to as many people as possible.
