Matt Ayres

Matt has been a member of the Kudos Blends technical team for over 3 years. In that time he has worked in quality control, research & development and now technical sales. Matt’s main role at Kudos is supporting bakeries in developing new products and improving current recipes, whether it is for health, cost or quality improvement. Matt’s wealth of knowledge means he also provides training for customers, including some of the UK’s largest bakeries, helping them understand how to get the most out of their baking powder. A large focus of Matt’s work is helping customers achieve sodium targets, without compromising quality, as well as improving the mineral composition of baked goods with the help of potassium – a vital mineral which is not consumed enough and can help to reduce the effects of excess sodium.
