BAPEN estimates that malnutrition affects over 3 million people in the UK, of which 1.3 million are aged 65 and over. It often goes unrecognised and untreated. This session will provide the latest insight into how malnourished individuals or those at risk of developing malnutrition are identified and treated. Expert speakers will review the frameworks required to put nutrition and hydration at the heart of care in the community.
