While people choose how active they are and what they eat – is their local community or workplace influencing their behaviour? Would people eat more fruit and vegetables if they were the first foods they encountered at the supermarket – or in a buffet lunch? Would they cycle or walk, rather than take the car, if their community was better connected to shops and parks? This debate brings together leading experts to explore how scientific understanding of people and design can lead to changing behaviour and improved lives.
