Celebrating the United Nations’ designating 2016 as “International Year of Pulses”, on Monday 16 May at The High Commission of Canada, Food Matters Live was delighted to welcome key members of the food and drink industry to an industry briefing dedicated to innovation and NPD with pulse fractions.
Representatives from United Biscuits, Bakkavor, 2 Sisters Food Group, Univar, Association for Nutrition, Euromonitor, IAR Agri Ltd, Sustainable Restaurant Association and Allied Bakeries were among the many delegates who attended the event to learn about the opportunities to include pulse flours and fractions - including dried beans, dried peas, lentils & chickpeas - into mainstream food manufacture.
