Mike Bagshaw, Founder & Owner, International Taste Solutions (ITS)
Mike Bagshaw founded International Taste Solutions (ITS) in 2009 aiming for it to be the most innovative, passionate, and agile creator of natural taste and texture solutions in the food industry. Holding strong technical skills and being an enthusiastic entrepreneur, he started ITS with a focus in the bakery, but he soon realised that the food industry was moving towards healthier products.
Mike’s passion and enthusiasm brought him to embrace a change and opened its range of taste and texture solutions to a broader market, including sports nutrition helping many clients to successfully develop products in the market. In 2016, ITS opened his new headquarters, including an Innovation Centre, Flavour laboratory and an Applications Suite which allows their team of experts to work closely with customers on development projects – whether it’s improving recipes or developing a new product.
Bryan Dickie, Sales Executive, Direct Food Ingredients (DFI)
Bryan manages the Sports Nutrition Sales for Direct Food Ingredients Ltd (DFI), supplying the UK's largest nutrition manufacturers and contract manufacturers with vitamins, amino acids, proteins, excipients, herbal and nutraceutical ingredients. Most of his time is spent developing business with some of the UK's most successful sports nutrition manufacturers. Bryan is also involved with the sourcing and purchasing of ingredients and works closely with DFI’s quality team to ensure everything imported and distributed meets the companies high quality standards.
