Sustainability Manager, Innocent Drinks
Simon is a sustainability manager (aka Captain Planet) at innocent drinks and is passionate about business being a force for good. Most of his work at innocent focusses on how to run a more sustainable supply chain. This covers many areas including carbon, water, waste, transport, human rights, and packaging. Simon enjoys the challenge of working with different teams internally, suppliers and customers to deliver new opportunities for doing business in a more sustainable way.
Simon has a master’s degree in Environment and Development, is a Chartered Environmentalist and full member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and has over 12 years of experience in the environmental sector. Simon started his working career with the environmental charity Earthwatch where he supported businesses on their sustainability journeys. He then worked for WRAP, a government funded body that worked with business to optimise resource management within the UK and lead the drive to a more circular economy. He then worked in the sustainability team at UK retailer Marks and Spencer before joining the innocent team mid-way through 2016.
Simon lives in Oxford with his wife and is the proud dad of two great girls. He likes bicycles and exploring new places. He dislikes sachets and slides with too many word on them.
