Hi I'm Sheona Foley.

I have been a lecturer in the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology for the last five years, with an interdisciplinary background and demonstrated history of working in the food industry, including event catering, small business owner, bakery management and food product development. I have a strong interest in sustainable food systems and currently undertaking PhD research in the area of sustainable food consumption. 

I work at the Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), which is Ireland’s first Technological University, offering a unique range of programmes and disciplines, with a new city campus on a spectacular 73-acre site at Grangegorman in central Dublin (two other campuses in the Greater Dublin Region – Blanchardstown and Tallaght). The School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology offers a range of culinary and food product development focused programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level.  The MSc Culinary Innovation and Food Product Development is a postgraduate programme (offered in both full and part-time format) designed to uniquely bridge the knowledge gap between science, business and the culinary arts. It offers a combination of critical, reflective and technical knowledge towards the development of innovative food products.
