"We have had a brilliant time at Food Matters Live the past two years. The FML team are fun, approachable and very organised. You never know who you're going to come face to face with at FML - we have them to thank for our recent launch in to Sainsbury's as we made contact with a Sainsbury's buyer whilst exhibiting at the 2017 show! Their focus and discussions around health and well-being are always interesting and on point with current affairs! We would recommend their show for sure!"

“This was our second Food Matters Live show and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We’re predominantly in the Nutra market but this show exposes us to qualified opportunities in the food and nutrition sector. See you next year!”

Gary Parker, Protec Nutra

"This was our first time exhibiting at Food Matters Live and also the first time we highlighted the food ingredients part of our business. We met a lot of interesting people with a positive attitude towards new thinking and new ideas. Food Matters Live is a great arena for trying out new aspects and ideas of your business. We have already signed up for next year’s event."

"Food Matters Live 2017 has been a great show for LioBites. As a new brand on the market we had a great exposure and promotional tools to launch LioBites crisps. During the show we met many interesting people and got to speak to the health industry experts. The Healthy Snacking is a fast growing market and our brand was surrounded by some big market leaders and new, interesting, niche brands. Overall we would recommend the show and we hope to return next year."

Anna Oldbury, Director of Woodlands Food Services, LioBites

“It was all in all a great experience. The participation & set-up were made easy and pleasant by the very accommodating staff. The event and venue were the perfect place to showcase our Healthy and High End snacks. The visitors were mostly professionals which made pitching and tasting activities focused and targeted.”

"Once again we had a great show at Food Matters Live - our first year was 2016 which also was a success! The leads we generated will definitely help make 2018 a successful year."

"We were delighted with the response we had from this year’s Food Matters Live Exhibition, there was a huge amount of interest and positivity for our #1 Brand Products and we are already planning a bigger stand for 2018."

"Food Matters Live was professionally organised, attracted the people I wanted to meet and I will not hesitate to do it again"

"Food Matters Live went above and beyond any expectations I had of the show. I was able to make connections with buyers that I thought were out of my reach and also received interest from other major companies that I didn't even realise would be interested in the product range my business has. I have already seen a huge uptake in sales from e-commerce platforms and my website (email literally wouldn't stop pinging) and I'm extremely excited to follow up on the leads and interest generated from my attendance. The "Meet the Buyer" area gave my business the opportunity to meet with companies that I hadn't considered as customers before and so far, we've been impressed with the result. I highly recommend the show to anyone that has innovation within their product to showcase. Will be back again next year!"

"The 2017 Food Matters Live was our first really big trade event and we will definitely be back next year. We had great interest from buyers and have done some good business as a direct result of being at the event. The organising team are superb and everything ran like clockwork, a top event and any new brand in the sector should get themselves to Food Matters Live next year.’"

"It’s a combination of 2 things which makes FML such a good exhibition for TEA REX 2 years running: Firstly, thought-leadership and a truly inspiring program of events which attracts the type of visitors for us to meet. Secondly, the team at Food Matters Live bend over backwards to make the event work for us and genuinely understand our requirements for our product. From pre-PR on social through to even helping to set our stand up at 7am…they really have got behind TEA REX and our vision."

Andrew Walker, Co-founder, Tea Rex

"This year’s show was by far the best trade show we have ever experienced as a company and the number of people who expressed interest in our range was incredible! We met with more retail buyers than we could ever have hoped to and a lot of credit must go to the Food Matters Live team in their marketing and putting on such a high-quality event that entices buyers from the large retailers to attend. We would recommend this show to anyone who has a food & beverage brand, whether it be a new company or one that’s been around a while, Food Matters Live is a great place to exhibit your products!"

"Food Matters Live 2017 was an innovation driven trade show, where ingredients come to life in new concepts and products.  It was a good show for us and we will be back next year. We had great interest from buyers and we met some prospects that were really new to us. The participation via ESSNA who set up the Sports Nutrition Pavilion was very easy and put us in a great spot."

The Embassy of Japan, Zen-Noh and Nourinchukin bank co-hosted a live attraction at Food Matters Live 2017 called ‘What’s Inside Japanese Ingredients’. This was the first time that we have been involved in Food Matters Live, and we were extremely pleased with the positive response and turn out. Food Matters Live is an excellent platform that gathers food experts, government, businesses and media just to mention a few, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share our information with such a wide ranging audience across the food and drink industry.

Food Matters Live provides an excellent platform for Italian companies in the food and drink industry. It is the leading cross sector event in the UK offering an opportunity for Italian companies to exhibit their innovative new products and ideas to a broad audience of buyers and influencers. As the event continues to evolve we are committed to make this a must for an Italian presence.

We exhibited at Food Matters Live for the first time this year and found the event a very worthwhile experience. We have made some really positive connections with buyers from retail and foodservice as well as the key UK distributors. We’ll be back again in 2018.

Food Matters 2017 was again a very interactive and dynamic event with a strong focus on innovation in food and nutrition. The large group of Dutch companies presented a wide variety of innovative food products and concepts, both via company stands in the pavilion as well as via presentations in the lectures programme. With this year’s focus on key topics of “Sports & nutrition” and “Green proteins” the innovative power of the Dutch food ecosystem was highlighted for establishing UK partnerships.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has been involved with Food Matters Live for the last 4 years. Every year we have seen the show grow bigger and incorporate a seminar programme that is topical and relevant for Dutch innovative food and drink companies. In 2017 the Embassy, in close cooperation with Food Valley NL, organised a seminar about ‘Food & Exercise’ with a specific focus on proteins. Being able to hold this seminar on the 'International Innovations stage" gave us the chance to showcase Dutch innovation in food technology and to promote Anglo-Dutch cooperation in food innovation. We are already looking forward to continuing our successful collaboration with Food Matters Live in 2018.
