Our Katsu Curry Stir-in Sauce is a low FODMAP, IBS Friendly, Gluten & Dairy Free, Vegan take on this classic Japanese curry sauce. It’s fragrant and packed with flavour and often paired with chicken, but it also works perfectly with tofu and tempeh for vegans.
All Bay’s Kitchen products, including the Katsu Curry, are made without high FODMAP ingredients and allergens, gluten and dairy, to ensure people can consume our products without triggering symptoms of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and other food intolerances. For people with IBS, our products are particularly important. The Low FODMAP Diet has been researched and scientifically proven to improve symptoms in 75% of people who try it, by removing hard-to-digest ingredients from the diet. We make all of our products ‘low FODMAP’ and so don’t include any hard-to-digest ingredients like onion, garlic, lentils and wheat which can cause upset in the gut and trigger gut symptoms like cramps, bloating, gas and changes in bowel habits. We send all our foods for certification with Fodmap Friendly, and they are all certified low FODMAP. We also officially certify our products as dairy and gluten free, with 15 of them being certified as vegan (including the Katsu Curry).
