DJ (Derek Johnston) is the co founder and director of brand strategy for Family (and friends), an award winning consultancy and studio specialising in ‘happy and healthy’ brand creation and equity building. Clients range from multinational food groups to ethical start-ups seeking investment.
Derek and his team have developed the ShelfHappy® brand approach, a simple and effective set of measures they apply to each of their brands to maximise sales in store and online.
Prior to founding F&f, DJ was a creative board director at Landor Associates, Creative Director for Saatchi Design London amongst other consultancies.
