Whilst considered food secure because of its political and economic stability, the UAE imports 90% of its food supplies, exposing its reliance on other countries food production. The UAE has set an ambitious target to be number 1 in the Food Security Index by 2071. This panel session will discuss the region’s food security strategy, what are the tech innovations vital to its success? What are the opportunities for collaboration with businesses to help them deliver on this goal?
